Nach der Investition von 1.000 \u20ac f\u00fcr Material und 3.000 (!) Arbeitsstunden, ist die Astral wieder eine richtige Sch\u00f6nheit.<br \/>\nDas kleine aber tiefe Cockpit strahlt sofort Sicherheit aus. Eine Segelfl\u00e4che Am-Wind von 38-46m\u00b2 sind f\u00fcr ein 7,91 m Schiff sehr gro\u00dfz\u00fcgig.<br \/>\nDer Mast ist eine gewachsene d\u00e4nische Tanne. Ich habe den Eigner gefragt, ob er die Festigkeit des Masts untersucht hat. Durch einen morschen Holzmast waren dieses Jahr bei einem Unfall <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yacht.de\/reise\/holland_spezial\/drei-tote-nach-mastbruch-auf-klipper\/a109257.html\">3 Menschen auf einem Klipper ums Leben gekommen<\/a>. Der Mast der Astral konnte bei 2 Probebohrungen zeigen, dass er seine Festigkeit \u00fcber die Jahre behalten hat.<br \/>\nBemerkenswert fand ich, dass es weder Achterstag noch Backstage gibt. Bei Wind verbiegt der Mast sich dementsprechend.<br \/>\nUm das Material zu schonen werden bei viel Wind statt Halsen nur noch Q-Wenden gefahren. Gegen den Druck des Gro\u00dfsegels kann bei Am Wind Kurs nicht abgefallen werden. Deshalb muss die Gro\u00dfschot gefiert werden. Dieser Eindruck wird durch die kleinen Bullaugen noch verst\u00e4rkt.<br \/>\nAm Niedergang gibt es eine kleine T\u00fcr. Dahinter befindet sich aber nicht die erwartete Toilette, sondern nur ein kleiner Schrank.<br \/>\nEine Toilette gibt es an Bord nicht (wohl aber eine P\u00fctz).
